About:

Presently I am working as NEWS HEAD at RU-B-RU TODAY. You will observe that I have a rich experience of anchoring, with organizations like All India Radio, Doordarshan, Aakashvani and various news channels. When taking my P.HD. I work as freelancer sports reporter with All India Radio and also anchored some sports programme for Doordarshan, Chandigarh Centre. While attached with these organizations I got a lot of field and camera facing experience. After completing my studies I joined Time Today as News Reader and partial News Head. My dedication and sincerity for my profession can be evidenced by that I received the Best Regional News Anchor award – 2010, by Media Federation of India. At that point of time I had an experience of only a little over 2 years. My almost 3+ years of experience at TIME TODAY and 1+ years of experience at RU-B-RU TODAY as NEWS HEAD. At both the organizations I have conducted almost 120+ interviews of prominent personalities which includes politicians, sports persons, entrepreneur and some other social personalities, which proves my ability to communicate and relate well to others. As a professional with initial-level news anchor and interviewer in media, I learned that the best way to achieve success is to motivate the resources I have, with well-defined objectives and empowerment. A management belief based on integrity, quality, along with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to new ideas and situations allows me to achieve consistent and significant success in the industry.

Being a successful consultative news anchor and interviewer, I have the ability to develop and nurture long-term relationships. My success in this area is well documented. I am efficient and organized, a helpful people person with superior follow-through and excellent at building rapport and fostering mutually beneficial relationships. I am also an active member of some national and International NGO’s like YUVSATTA and ROTARY.
