About:

After gaining a Degree in Chemistry from University of Birmingham in 1976 I when on to do a PGCE at the University of York. From 1977 to 2001 I taught Science especially Chemistry at secondary level, including A level. For the last 10 years I have worked with Becta, the governement agency on ICT in education, where I am Head of School Improvement.

I will leave Becta at the end of February 2011, and am loooking for opportunities where I could support IYC and enthuse young learners about Chemistry.
