Dedicated to human health and environmental protection, EcoMundo is built on two core businesses: managing hazardous chemical substances – REACH regulation, and ecodesign for industry at supply chain level.

Manufacturers of chemical products worldwide will, at the end of 2010, need the authorisation of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) to market their products in the European Union.

The entire downstream product manufacture chain depends on it. It is a gigantic effort by industry to which EcoMundo contributes through a range of services.

EcoMundo’s approach is to always take the entire supply chain into consideration. Thus, for chemical substances, we learn to know the industrial processes and the multiplicity of downstream uses to identify and eliminate risks.

Our interest in the IYC 2011 is to be part of this year-long event of chemistry all around the world. REACH is the future of chemistry, and as such is not known enough by the public. EcoMundo wants to help increase the public understanding of the safety regulations in chemistry.
