About:

The RSC North Wales Local Section comprises of a diverse group of industrial and academic chemists from across the North Wales area. The section organises a number of educational events and also organises social events. To celebrate IYC, we will be participating at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, which will be held in Wrexham in 2011.

The National Eisteddfod of Wales is the premier cultural festival of Wales attracting over 160,000 visitors each year. The Science Pavilion is a focal point for family audiences with something available for everyone; shows, lectures, exhibitions, displays, competitions and many more educational activities. Chemistry activities will include pH experiments, making an indicator, solar cells, “Flash Bang! The Climate Change Show”, slime, bath bombs and much more!
