About:

I would like to invite you to our press conference regarding the festival.

Please confirm your interest so I be able to send you the dates and time.

We do hoping for your support in that project.

With Kind Regards

Tina

I am writing to you on behalf of Magdalena Rutkowska, an established artist and curator based in London. and

Steven Barfield,

Senior Lecturer in English Literature,

Dept of English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies University of Westminster.

Magdalena is responsible for the renovation of the interior of a classic building in Warsaw CBR where Marie Curie was a student and had her first laboratory. She's also the author of a portrait of Marie Curie, created for the fiftieth anniversary of the CBR and another painting representing the International Gesar Symbol, present in a charitable institution that supports Marie Curie foundations, mainly those helping children. But Magdalena's charity work goes well beyond that. She has notably collaborated with the Marie Curie Breast Cancer Charity by donating paintings that were sold on a private auction on Bond Street.

The importance of supporting Marie Sklodowska-Curie foundations and raising awareness about cancer is still a priority in today's world. 100 years ago Marie Curie was granted the Nobel Prize, the timing is thus perfect to organise an event, not only celebrating Marie Curie's life and achievements, but also reminding people of the need to continue the combat by raising funds.

We aim at creating a major festival celebrating her figure, not only as a great scientist but also as an active advocate of female suffrage, art lover and one of the most important people of her era. The festival will take place at Westminster University London Regent str. And will include staging a play, showing biographical film, exhibition of never showed before material about Marie, mask ball and many exciting events. The proceeds from the sale of tickets will go to charities of which Marie Sklodowska-Curie is a recognized patron. We are already in full collaboration with different museums CBR, Marie Curie Museum Freta Warsaw (to name a few) in order to borrow material and organize an exhibition. We also managed to establish collaboration and sponsorships with Polish embassy in London, London Science museum, Chinara events (Marie curie breast cancer fund.)and we are in the progress of negotiating a possible support from EU.gov. and others.

If you wish to take part in our festival and wish to find details regarding the program and your possible involvement, we will be happy to invite you to join our press conference which will be hold at the University of Westminster after 15 of May.

Your sponsorship will help us give birth to this major event and link your name to the raising of funds for charities that fight against cancer and others charities related to health and education .

We really appreciate you for considering this proposal. You can contact us at press@eclusier.com to know more about the event.

Respectfully,

__Tina Lopomme__________
