I am a 3rd year student in the university of Nairobi pursuing a bachelors degree in Industrial Chemistry. i am the secretary general of the Chemistry society (UNICSA) as earlier stated, which is tasked to increase awareness of chemistry in campus through projects, interactive forums, and to help students appreciate applied chemistry through organizing industrial visits periodically, workshops and whenever possible, liaise with the school administration to enable exchange program with foreign varsities.

we, as the UNICSA society, would like to facilitate the IYC objective by popularizing the achievements of chemistry and highlighting its contribution to human life by inviting re-known chemists to engage students in group sessions, also through projects within the university and with adequate assistance and support, organize symposiums and competitions to increase the involvement and tap on the imagination and creativity of fellow students and offer a platform to build each other hence.
