About:

I am a reader in PhysicalChemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Durham Universuty. I am involved with the Electroanalytical Group and was immediate past chairperson.

My interest are in developing new analytical techniques, particularly electrochemical and spectroscpoic , to help in the medical, industrial and environmental sectors.

I am an ethnic minority( Indian origin) in UK and female and have had to struggle to achieve recognition. I am therefore interested in helping women, particularly from less privileged areas to use their potential as leading scientists.
