About:

Currently serving as an Associate to the ACS National Committee on Public Relations and Communications (CPRC), a member volunteer for the Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society (NESACS) assisting the PR Chair and a new member of Small Chemical Businesses Division (SCHB) in the social media facilitator function.

ORAL presentation accepted for PITTCON 2012: "Utilizing social media to continue the International Year of Chemistry mission beyond 2012".

Presented at SCI-MIX in Division of Small Chemical Businesses (SCHB) and Environmental (ENVR) Div at ACS Denver: "What's in the air now: Photochemical Smog Detector" and "Chemistry outreach on Cape Cod during the International Year of Chemistry".

Presented a poster at PITTCON in Atlanta, GA in March 2011 www.pittcon.org in the ACS Division titled: "Leveraging Social Media to educate the public about sustainability practices". Facilitated a networking session at PITTCON titled: "The Role of Analytical Chemists in an age of high end instrumentation and robotization".

Presented at ACS Anaheim in March 2011 at SCI-Mix and in the ENVR Division of Posters a presentation called: "Selective GC detectors and their role in Environmental Analysis".

I served as the Team 7 Facilitator of the American Chemical Society Sustainability Engagement Event from May to August 2010 and hosted a National Chemistry Week event on Cape Cod in October 2010.
