About:

I am resposible for the study program Bachelor Chemistry at the University of Hasselt and I am director of our Institute for Material Research which comprises about 110 fte professors, researchers, technicians and administrative personnel.

I am by education an organic synthetic chemist, since 25 years active in synthetic methods toward advanced polymers.
