As part of the International Year of Chemistry programme series, the Hungarian Chemical Society and BASF have crowned their joint efforts by establishing a unique online chemistry knowledge base. Developed by Hungarian scientists with the intention to present to and promote chemistry among the young generation, the new website Chemgeneration.com will be launched in 10 countries, including Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Available in 11 languages, the website introduces the fascinating side of chemistry through a raft of interactive applications, games, videos, and other interesting features.
