I am a lady of 39 years and have graduated with a single major degree in Chemistry from the University of Botswana in 1995. Since my graduation i have worked in the public sector and the private sector applying my skills and knowledge as a chemist. I have worked for the past fifteen(15) years as a chemist.

From my experience i have realised that Chemistry is not recognised in the work place although it plays a vital role in the development of the economy. There is need to raise the awareness on the benefits of chemistry to the society so that it can be appreciated more.

I would like to be involved in the events of the international year of chemistry activities to broaden my scope of understanding and improve my production in relation to the application of chemistry in the industry.

I hope i will benefit by joining this forum.
