The Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs, Inc (PSYSC) is a national federation of science clubs geared towards the promotion of scientific interests and consciousness among our youth. On its 40th year of existence, the organization continues to conduct quality programs and projects that supplement elementary and secondary science education.

As one of its annual projects, the organization will be conducting the National Youth Science, Technology and Environment Summer Camp 2011 (NYSTESC ‘11) this coming April 6-10, 2011. This is a five-day activity that caters all high school science enthusiasts nationwide. For this year, in line with the celebration of the year 2011 as International Year of Chemistry (IYC), we are expecting at most 1000 students and teachers from all over the country to gather in a venue in strengthening their knowledge on the importance of Chemistry in other fields of science through series of lectures and workshops, exposure trips and other educational and fun-filled activities.
