About:

I am an undergraduate student at Jomo Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya. I am pursuing analytical chemistry. In 2009 and early this year I got opportunities to attend chemistry workshops and conferences organized by RSC and the Kenya Chemical Society respectively. This gave me a chance to know more about chemistry and also to understand the role of chemistry in life. What am excited about is that chemistry really has the potential of transforming lives and economies especially in developing nations like Kenya. I want to continue with this journey of interaction and discovery within the chemistry world. IYC 2011 is without doubt the best platform for chemistry lovers all over the world to implement chemistry. There has never been a better time!
