About:

I am a primary school teacher in St. Lucia. I teach at the Vide Bouteille Primary School. I teach Science to Grades 3 - 6. I enjoy teaching Chemistry and seeing the excitement on my students' faces as they conduct experiments and learn how things work and function in their environment.

I believe that the use of these activities has come at the right time. Students are now really interested in their environment particulary now since we have just observed one year since the island was devastated by Hurricane Tomas. The landscape has changed and students are interested in finding out about acidity levels and harmful effects of our oceans and rivers. These experiments will therefore allow them to get answers to their questions.
