About:

I am a research assistant within the Medicinal Chemistry team at The University of Strathclyde and I am currently writing up my PhD thesis. In my spare time I write for the science magazine 'The GIST' where we aim to provide a method of science communication for members of the public and scientists as a whole. My interest in chemistry - aside from research - focuses mainly on improving the public's appreciation of what it is a chemist actually does as well as trying to generate an interest in the field from the younger generation.
