About:

At Charterhouse we aim to bring together local schools (all age groups) and members of the public to experience hands-on chemistry along with exposure to various chemical industry (exhibiting their products and showing the importance of chemistry in their manufacture). So far the following chemical companies have confirmed their involvement: Kimbolton Fireworks, Castrol, Procter & Gamble and Syngenta. Invited speakers include the Nobel Laureate Sir Harry Kroto. The event will take place on 23 June 2011.
