About:

My name is Eugenie (French name), but everyone calls me Jenny (Empirical form of the name). I'm fifteen and I go to an IB school in Amman where I am, fortunately, able to increase my knowledge in chemistry. I loved chemistry ever since I started taking it, but I think that this year has opened my eyes to the wonders of Chemistry and how much it includes and how much it relates to our lives, for it really shapes our entire existence.

I was looking for educational websites when I came across this Website, over from IUPAC where I was conducting research on how they name chemical compounds: Alkanes and so on.

I am interested in the IYC because I think it is a regal manifestation of chemistry and it really increases its significance, so I wanted to join to, and I quote: "Generate enthusiasm for the creative future of chemistry".
