About:

I am the Secretary of Kenya Chemical Society, Nairobi Chapter. I hold a PhD degree in Chemistry - Natural Products Chemistry - from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and technology, (JKUAT) Kenya. For the last fifteen years, I have been involved in teaching and research in Chemistry at JKUAT to both undergraduate and postgraduate students taking courses in Chemistry, Agricultural Sciences and Building Sciences.

My interest in IYC 2011is mainly to create awareness of the role of Chemistry in life and to encourage the youth to take courses in chemistry and chemical sciences. As the secretary of Kenya Chemical Society, Nairobi Chapter I have a team that is eager to carry out thses tasks.
