I am an organic chemist currently working in biomedicinal chemistry.

During last decades we have noticed how the term "chemistry" is increasingly associated to negatively connoted notions such us "pollution" or "toxic" and, for "marketing" reasons, often tends to be avoided even in academic and scientific contexts. However, chemistry is a fascinating scientific discipline and chemistry is everywhere. Life is chemistry. It can either generate or solve problems, as any other domain of knowledge, depending on the use we made of it.

We would therefore be glad to participate in any initiative developed in Luxembourg aimed at increasing awareness on the beauty and benefits of chemistry.
