About:

As an events planner, I like to see the sciences blended into presentations that capture the imagination of people of all genders and social and economic backgrounds. To this end, I regularly monitor the science departments of Universities, to discover what interesting people and projects are applicable to my annual festival venue--GA/GI. GA/GI (pronounced GAH-gee) is an indie project that showcases green and technology innovators with their peers in the arts. This year, I am again including the University of Pittsburgh's 80-ft Mobile Science Lab, the Assistant Chemistry Professor of Carnegie Mellon University with his "Cooking" Class; and an artist who does drawings of sacred geometry. Check out my blog for additional information.
