About:

I am a Natural Products Chemist and Head of Forest Products and Marketing Division of the Forestry Research Institute of Ghana. I am a Doctoral Candidate in Chemical Engineering and hold an MSc. in Organic Chemistry and BSc. Chemistry.

I have taught high school chemistry for 5 years and undergraduate organic chemistry for 4 years as a teaching assistant. Currently, I teach Polymerization Technology and Adhesive Technology at Kumasi Polytechnic as a Part-time Lecturer.

I am the National Secretary of the Ghana Chemical Society and also the Secretary of Pesticides, Environment and Health Research Group based at KNUST.

With respect to IYC, I love to help raise public appreciation and understanding of chemistry and generate enthusiasm for its creative future in Ghana and beyond. As the secretary of the Ghana Chemical Society and with deep understanding of what chemistry can offer man and his environment, I would not hesitate to make my services available to coordinate activities in Ghana for IYC 2011.
