Dear Sir / Madame,

May I introduce myself. My name Setyabudhi ZUBER, I am a Secretary General and Executive Director of the National Committee of Responsible Care Indonesia (KN-RCI). We (KN-RCI) are member of Responsible Care Leadership Group - International Council of Chemical Associations (RCLG-ICCA).

The Vision of KN-RCI, to become the chemical management center of Indonesia through sustainable Responsible Care implementation. Currently we have 117 member companies consisting of chemical manufactures and other supporting companies such as chemical transporters.

I am graduate from the Chemistry Department of Institute of Technology Bandung, ITB, in and work for Urea-Ammonia Fertilizer Industry in Indonesia and Malaysia (1979 - 2008). In 2002 - 2007 I was a General Manager of Indonesian Fertilizer Institute (LPI) and also as Chairman of Indonesia Chemical Society (HKI) of South Sumatra Province in 1990 - 1995. I am participate at the courses or capacity building of chemical management such as Globally Harmonized System (GHS), REACH, etc. in Indonesia and overseas.

I am happy to hear that the U.N. has declared the International Year of Chemistry (IYC) 2011 and UNESCO and IUPAC will lead this activities. Regarding this important event, we have started to coordinate with the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Chemical Society (HKI) and other stakeholders who interest in IYC2011.

Now we are seeking support, ideas and sponsorship to celebrate IYC2011 in Indonesia. We plan to conduct this big event in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Responsible Care Conference and the 2011 Annual Meeting of RCLG-ICCA, the 2011 Responsible Care Award and Exhibition, in Bali Indonesia in October 2011.

Once again, we are seeking theme, speakers, ideas and sponsorship for the success of very important event, ICY2011 in Bali Indonesia.
