About:

I am Professor in the University of Concepción, Chile

I teach General, Analytical and Polymer Chemsitry. Also i do research in the application of polymers in analitical chemistry, specifically in forensic chemistry.

My interest is related with my possition in our National Chemical Society. Actually i belong to the central comitte and we are very interested for to organize the IYC in Chile.

I am preparing and coordianting the principal activities for the next year, and of course we need some information and ideas from the IUPAc and other organizations around the world.

Finally, in 2005 i have participed as "Young Observer" in the IUPAC GA in Beijing and beacuse of that I have a real compromise with the dissemination of the chemistry in the young people, specially in the public schools.
