About:

The idea that almost every aspect of life can be linked to Chemistry has fascinated me for years. I am planning to study Chemistry at university, and have a particular interest in organic (reactions and synthesis of molecules into useful materials, pharmaceuticals, azo dyes, epoxy resins etc) the creation of renewable energy (materials involved in wind, solar, the improvement of the hydrogen fuel cells by the use of various electrolytes) and improvement of pre-existing energy and fuel sources. I would love to gain some experience of lectures and of the application of Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering to the modern world. And also how the different sciences, humanities and maybe politics (at a push) are intergrated into uses, equipment, knowledge and curiosity.
