About:

The Chemical Database Service (CDS) gives on-line access to a rich variety of quality databases in the field of chemistry. The CDS team also provides general support, training and advice. See http://cds.dl.ac.uk/

It is free of charge to eligible users. To register you must be affiliated to a University or one of the other academic teaching and research institutions within the UK.

The group includes 2 postdoctoral Chemists and has considerable IT experience.

We regularly participate in local schools events organised by STEMNET and Connexions and have participated in The Salters' Festival of Chemistry at the University of Manchester for the last 3 years.

STFC Daresbury Laboratory is a major centre for multi-disciplinary research in applied materials and computational chemistry, spearheaded by the Computational Science & Engineering Department (CSE).
