About:

I am in São Tomé to accompany my husband that is working here. I teach chemistry and physics at the secondary level and I am a teacher’s instructor. I am pursuing my PhD in educational technology, have a master’s degree in educational technology from the Walden University and have a bachelor’s degree in research chemistry from the University of Coimbra. My dissertation project is to be in the implementation of virtual laboratories in countries like São Tomé where most schools do not have any science laboratories.

My interest in IYC is the opportunity to collaborate in generating enthusiasm for the creative future of chemistry, to encourage the interest in chemistry, and to celebrate the role of women in chemistry.
