About:
Hello
My name is Miguel Angel Serrano Ascencio, I'm from Mexico City and I am a graduate student at "Universidad Iberoamericana" (one of the most prestigious universities in Mexico), to get the major in Chemical Engineering. Last April, I was elected President of the Chemical Engineering Students Society.
The next year is the International Year of Chemistry, and that is why is very important to evaluate the future of the Chemistry and the Chemical Engineering. So one of the activities we want to organize, is a great conference entitled "The future of Chemical Engineering in Mexico", (9th to 11th of March, 2011).
We will invite as speakers leaders in the fields of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering; like Juan José Suarez Coppel, CEO of Pemex (the state-owned petroleum company), Roger David Kornberg, awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2006, Sergio Cervantes Rodiles, President of the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry, and many others leaders to discuss the future of the Chemistry and the Chemical Engineering.
We are sure that with your support and assistance we can make one of the best conferences to discuss this subject.
