The Electrochem 2011 meeting in September in Bath (UK) will have a symposium entitled "International Year of Chemistry 2011 - Sensors for Africa". The main idea is to bring together a group of researchers interested in low cost environmental and medical sensing and to focus on the needs of the population in Africa.
