About:

In 1965, I received a BSc degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield. I subsequently taught Chemistry in Secondary schools until taking early retirement in 2000. Since then, I have taught Chemistry to private students up to GCE A'Level standard, and have continued writing popular science articles and reviewing science books, for a variety of magazines, both print and online, with a particular emphasis on Chemistry.
