    Chemistry Department Information
    The Department of Chemistry is a comprehensive unit with the fundamental mission of teaching and conducting research in the basic science of chemistry at the University at Buffalo (UB). The Department offers baccalaureate degree programs (B.S., B.A.) in chemistry and medicinal chemistry as well as graduate level degrees (i.e., Ph.D., M.A. in chemistry and Ph.D., M.S. in medicinal chemistry), while vigorously engaged in research. In addition, the Department provides training in chemistry to a large number of students in the science, health professions, engineering disciplines and other professional programs at UB.
