    Description
    Initially acknowledged as "Fudan Public School", Fudan University was founded in the year 1905. "Fudan", literally meaning "heavenly light shines day after day", shows endless self-reliance and industriousness. Fudan has 28 schools and departments, with seventy undergraduate disciplines. The University has bachelor's degrees in seventy academic disciplines, and master's degrees in 229 disciplines (with fifty-one of them formed by the University itself), and doctoral degrees in 24 Level I and one 154 Level II academic disciplines (with thirty of them formed by the University itself). There are also 29 research stations that offer postdoctoral fellowships.

    Department of Chemistry, the existing staff of 160 people, including 103 teachers, 87% have a doctorate; 44 48 professor, associate professor and senior professional titles 34 doctoral tutor. Teachers rigorous scholarship, the courage to open up, teaching and research strength, with 11 5 (3) with double recruits of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Education plan Yangtze of four Distinguished Professor and Chair Professor 2, National Outstanding Youth Foundation winners (A-8, Class B-3), a chief scientist of the National 973, a national and teachers teaching in Shanghai, a Shanghai University Distinguished Professor (Oriental scholar), Fudan University Distinguished Professor 5, and Outstanding Young Teachers of the Ministry of Education, and the next century (New Century) talents 7; also employed a professor emeritus of 8 and 16, a part-time professor.
