Join the ACS Committee on International Activities at the ACS Fall 2010 National Meeting and Exposition in Boston to launch their involvement in the International Year of Chemistry 2011.
The Committee on International Activities (IAC) is a branch of the American Chemical Society that focuses on encouraging worldwide community involvement in chemical education, professional activities, and scientific matters of interest to chemists and chemical engineers.
The IAC reception will take place on August 24th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Westin Copley Place Hotel. The Committee on International Activities will be providing materials and information on events happening in the US and internationally. The materials include an IYC toolkit which contains ideas for celebrating IYC, IYC presentation material, and templates for IYC-related communications. For your own copy of the IYC virtual toolkits click here.
Consider this your invitation to a great opportunity to talk with others about activities you are planning or would like to plan to celebrate chemistry during 2011! Hope to see you there!
